Privacy Policy — Jungle Ouvidoria

Jungle Software Development LTDA ("We", "Jungle") develops and operates the Jungle Ouvidoria application ("App"). This Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data in compliance with LGPD (Law 13.709/2018). By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Policy.


1. What data we collect

1.1. Account data

  • Personal identifiers: name, email, CPF, phone number.
  • Credentials: password (stored in encrypted form).
  • Account metadata: creation/update dates.

1.2. Content submitted by you

Tickets (title, description, category, provided address), photos/attachments and comments.

1.3. Location and addresses

  • Typed address in the search field (autocomplete).
  • Latitude/longitude obtained by geocoding the typed address.
  • Device location (precise or approximate) only if you choose to allow in system settings.

Google Attribution: we use Google Places Autocomplete and Geocoding (Google Maps Platform) to suggest addresses and convert addresses to coordinates. We display the required attributions ("Powered by Google") and follow Google's Terms. We do not redistribute Google data outside the App.

1.4. Push notifications

We collect your device's push token to send ticket update notifications.

1.5. Technical and usage data

Access logs, IP, device/OS type, app version, performance, error/crash events and usage metrics in aggregated form.

We do not collect sensitive data (such as racial/ethnic origin, religion, sexual orientation, biometric data, health, etc.).

2. How we use your data (LGPD legal bases)

  • Provide the service (create, list and track tickets; send notifications) — contract execution.
  • User support (support, communication) — legitimate interest and/or contract execution.
  • Improvement and security (diagnostics, fraud/abuse prevention) — legitimate interest.
  • Legal obligations (records, responses to authorities) — legal obligation.
  • Consent when applicable (e.g.: precise location, push) — revocable at any time.

3. Data sharing

We may share your data with:

  • Service providers (hosting/images, email/push, analytics/errors), under contract and only for the described purposes.
  • Public authorities when required by law.
  • Corporate transfers (merger/assignment), preserving your rights and transparency.

Public content: some ticket information may be displayed to other users (e.g.: title, category, status, photos). CPF, email and phone are not displayed publicly.

4. Storage and transfers

Data is stored on servers and cloud providers [Brazil and/or abroad]. In case of international transfers, we apply adequate measures (contractual and security) according to LGPD.

5. Security

We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect your data (encryption at rest/in transit, access control, logs, backups). No measure is 100% foolproof, but we continuously seek to improve protection.

6. Retention

We keep data while your account is active and for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes of this Policy and legal obligations.

  • Access logs and logs: [e.g.: 6–12 months].
  • Tickets and attachments: while the account is active or until deletion request, observing legal retentions.

7. Your rights (LGPD)

You can request at any time:

  • Confirmation and access to your data;
  • Correction of incomplete/inaccurate data;
  • Anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary/excessive data;
  • Portability;
  • Information about sharing;
  • Consent revocation;
  • Data deletion processed with consent, when applicable.

8. Your choices and controls

  • Location: manage in System Settings > Privacy > Location.
  • Notifications: enable/disable in System Settings > Notifications.
  • Account: request deletion/changes through the App or via support.

9. Children and adolescents

The App is not intended for children under 13 years old. If we identify improperly collected data, we will take measures to delete it.

10. Cookies and local storage

We use local device storage (e.g.: AsyncStorage) to maintain sessions and preferences. We do not use third-party cookies for advertising in the App.

11. Advertisements

The App does not display advertising. If we come to display in the future, we will update this Policy and request necessary consents.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. We will publish the updated version and indicate the effective date.

Specific compliance notes

  • Google Maps Platform (Places/Geocoding): we display "Powered by Google" in suggestions; we follow the Places no-cache policy beyond what is permitted; we do not redistribute data outside the App.
  • Push Notifications: we use the device token only for notifications about your ticket.
  • Sensitive data: we do not request or process sensitive categories defined in LGPD.
